The Future of Mobile Multimedia and Mobile Entertainment

Moderator: Michael Bidu, Executive Director WINBC

Speaker: Tom Nyberg
Title: Director Product Marketing NOKIA Nseries Players

Bio: Tom joined Nokia in 1998 as a Product Manager for in-car telematics products in Germany. Since 2004 he has been leading Product Marketing teams in Nokia Multimedia with global responsibility of products, such as N91, N95 and N81. Mr. Nyberg is a graduate of Helsinki University of Technology, where he earned a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management. Tom is also a Director of WINBC.

Speaker: Gregg Sauter
Title: Global Director – NOKIA 3rd Party Publishing

Bio: Gregg is a veteran of the digital entertainment and consumer products industry. He works out of NOKIA Vancouver office and is responsible for NOKIA's business relationships with 3rd party entertainment publishers, with the objective of driving the future of connected mobile games.

As more and more functionality gets built into our mobile devices, what can we expect to see with respect to multimedia and games on those devices.

NOKIA's Tom Nyberg will start us off with a look at the kinds of mobile devices and interfaces that are available now, and what we can expect to see in the near future.

Tom will also be answering such questions as: How will we use mobile multimedia in business, commerce and our personal lives? What impact will NOKIA have on mobile multimedia?

Gregg Sauter, also from NOKIA, will examine the mobile games space. There are already sophisticated multiplayer mobile games available and even location-based games, such as Geocaching, a treasure hunt game. Gregg will reveal some of what NOKIA is doing that may change the way you view – and play – those and other games, including those yet to be developed.
